TERMS OF USE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering for, accessing, or participating in our webinar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in the webinar.

2. WEBINAR ACCESS AND PARTICIPATION

2.1 Registration Requirements

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent

2.2 Permitted Use

  • Access is granted solely for personal or business educational purposes
  • You may not record, reproduce, or distribute webinar content without written permission
  • Disruptive behaviour, spam, or inappropriate content is prohibited

2.3 Technical Requirements

  • You are responsible for ensuring adequate internet connection and compatible devices
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or technical support

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All webinar content, including presentations, materials, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of the presenter and/or the Australian Cardijn Institute Cooperative Ltd. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited under Australian copyright law.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

  • We provide the webinar “as is” without warranties
  • We are not liable for technical issues, interruptions, or loss of data
  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law

5. CONSUMER GUARANTEES

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

We collect the following information from webinar participants:

Personal Information:

  • Full name and email address
  • Job title and company name
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • IP address and device information
  • Participation data (attendance, questions, poll responses)

Technical Information:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Access times and duration
  • Audio/video settings and quality metrics

2. PURPOSE OF COLLECTION

We collect this information to:

  • Facilitate webinar registration and access
  • Provide technical support and improve user experience
  • Send follow-up materials and relevant communications
  • Conduct analysis for educational and business purposes
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. USE OF INFORMATION

Primary Uses:

  • Webinar delivery and administration
  • Communication regarding the webinar and related services
  • Technical support and troubleshooting
  • Internal analytics and reporting

Secondary Uses:

  • Marketing communications about similar events or services (with consent)
  • Aggregate statistical analysis (de-identified data)
  • Compliance with legal requirements

4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

This policy is governed by Australian law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable state and territory privacy legislation.
